| After managing the financial service department of an independent agency for more than 10 years, Frank U. Linn has become an Underwriter-Broker of his own firm, LINN FINANCIAL GROUP, INC. Frank shows his abilities to both
individual and business clients by providing the best possible advice in the areas of INDIVIDUAL and GROUP employee benefits, health/hospitalization, life, annuities, disability, estate and retirement benefit planning. All of which has earned him professional recognition throughout the tri-state area.
Frank has completed courses in business insurance, group health insurance, employee benefit counseling, disability income, and COBRA (HIPAA) Compliance. In 1979, Frank earned the prestigious Registered Health Underwriter (R14U) designation and became a
charter member of that select group. In 1985, he earned his Life Underwriters Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation.
In July of 1989, he established Group Claim Administrators, a Third Party Administration firm (TPA), which is believed to be the first self-funding claims administration service in the tri-state area. Among the adjudicated services provided are Dental,
Vision, Cafeteria/Flex Plans, and Administration Services in addition to COBRA (HIPAA) Compliance guidance. Now in the ninth year of the program, it has become a huge success and is generating an enormous interest in the business community.
In 1992, Frank U. Linn, RHU, LUTCF established credibility and integrity within the broker community. Using the organizational structure, he was asked to act on behalf of the financial service department for other independent insurance agencies in the
Maryland/Pennsylvania/West Virginia/Virginia areas.
Frank is the past President of numerous industry and civic organizations; including The Hagerstown Life Underwriters Association; Baltimore Association of Health Underwriters; Maryland Health Underwriters Association; and Hagerstown Kiwanis Club. Frank is
presently serving on several committees with the Hagerstown/Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He is serving on numerous advisory councils to several large insurance companies. A former Jaycee, he was presented the Outstanding Jaycee of the Year Award for exemplary performance to the community.
